The Government Delegate, Sabrina Moh, and the Superior Chief of Police, José Antonio Togores, received this morning in the Government Delegation the seven inspectors of the XXV Promotion of Chief Inspectors of the National Police who are going to carry out the practices in our city.
This is a woman and six men who will serve in Melilla during the next seven months and will strengthen security in the different services of the Superior Police Headquarters. In particular, five of them have acceded to the Executive Scale by internal promotion and the other two by free opposition.
The highest representative of the Government of Spain in our city has highlighted the important work carried out by the National Police Force. “The decline in crime in our city is due, in large part, to the work and professionalism of the State Security Forces and Corps,” he said.
In this regard, Moh has stressed the merit of the Police in the fact that Melilla is a safe city and has recognized the dedication, dedication and professionalism of the women and men who make up the National Police Force of our city. “I want to recognize your work, the resolution of crimes, the operations you carry out…”, he has put in value.
The Delegate, who has encouraged them to continue along this path of work, has assured them that they will always find in it a faithful defender of the work they do.
For their part, the Chief of Police has encouraged them to effectively join the activities and units that have been programmed and has highlighted the importance of the inspector category in the Police, since they exercise direct control on the street of the operational units in all areas in which the National Police operates.
During their internships, the student inspectors, always accompanied by an active inspector, will pass through all the police units of the Superior Police Headquarters.
