The Imserso reinforces the staff of the Polyvalent Center for Older People, -popularly known as the Residence of Older People- with the incorporation of 22 interim workers.
This was announced this morning by the Delegate of the Government, Sabrina Moh, and the Territorial Director, Verónica Aznar, who explained that this reinforcement will serve to fill interim positions on vacancies.
Thanks to it, the much-requested medical space will be covered, as well as other profiles: nursing professionals, waiters, warehouse staff… Some professionals who will be joining the Residence after Holy Week.
In addition, as they have explained, the center will count on the reinforcement of the workers of the Employment Plans. “We have designed the support staff in two phases. A first phase that has already been incorporated, with a total of 33 professionals, and a second phase that will be incorporated soon”, explained Moh, who pointed out that all of them will have contracts of 6 months duration.
The reason for carrying out these additions in two phases has responded to the objective that there would be a period of adaptation of the professionals and instead that they were all incorporated at once.
The Delegate stressed that the objective of the Executive of Pedro Sánchez is to continue improving the Residence and the quality of the service it provides, the well-being of residents and workers of the same and in that context she referred to the 352,000 euros of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan used in the equipment of this center.
Visit of the Secretary General
The Delegate also highlighted the visit to Melilla made by the General Secretary of the Imserso, Amelia García, who is in our city with the aim of being able to listen to all the professionals and their demands.
Moh, who has highlighted the work of Amelia García as well as that of Verónica Aznar, has been convinced that, with the incorporation of the new Director, Ibrahim Molina, and the work of the full team of professionals of the center as well as with the support of the Government Delegation “we are going to achieve that final objective in which we have been working, which is none other than the quality of the services we give to our elders”.
