A hundred students from the Higher Degrees of Professional Training in Administration and Finance, Computer Science and Laboratory of the IES Leopoldo Queipo and the CIFP Reina Victoria Eugenia have known at first hand the work that is carried out within the different offices of the Delegation of the Government of Melillla.
During two days, on Tuesday and yesterday, within the Open Administration Week, the students visited the Office of Foreigners, the Health Area, the Unit Against Gender Violence, the General Secretary, the General Registry…
In each of the units the directors and heads of area have explained to them the work they carry out, while the students have been able to share with the public employees and see what their work consists of and how it is carried out.
In addition, they have conducted 2 workshops. The first of these was with the Head of the Unit Against Gender Violence, Laura Segura, with whom they have made a practical assumption on how to act in a possible case of gender violence, focusing on the resources made available to the victims by the General Administration of the State.
In the second workshop, a practical explanation of the analytical identification of toxic substances and an implementation of the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) has been carried out.
In addition, agents of the National Police for the area of Foreigners have explained the procedure followed, how their applications work or how fingerprints are taken.
