The Ministry of Territorial Policy, in collaboration with the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), is promoting the Plan "The Administration near you". The main objective of this plan is to publicize the services and benefits offered by the General Administration of the State to citizens of small towns throughout Spain.
In this way, citizens will be able to carry out procedures with the Administration electronically from their own municipality, without having to travel.
The plan is implemented in different phases. In this first phase, those municipalities that have between 500 and 8,000 inhabitants will be served. Government Delegation personnel go to the municipalities concerned that join the initiative to make known, through informative talks, to residents and municipal employees the various trámtites that can be carried out electronically with the General Administration of the State and, in particular, tools such as the Digital Cerfiticado.
The purpose is to bring the General Administration of the State in the Territory closer to the citizens, in order to give effect to the right of citizens to access all public services regardless of their place of residence.
