- From 21 to 24 September, the network of Offices Acelera SME will deploy Activities, workshops and advice in sixteen autonomous communities.
- The three SME Accelerator Offices in Madrid will join the initiative with seven Activities aimed at promoting the adoption of artificial intelligence in the business environment in an accessible, ethical and secure way.
Red.es, an entity attached to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Service through the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence has launched, for the first time, the ‘AI Week’ in the network of Offices Acelera SME. It is an initiative developed in coordination with the network of offices and whose main objective is to make visible the real and practical application of artificial intelligence in the business fabric of the entire country.
The ‘AI Week’ in the network of Offices Acelera sme will take place from 21 to 24 of September. During these days, the key concepts of this technology will be brought closer to small and medium-sized enterprises, promoting the adoption of new tools to improve their competitiveness and ensuring a responsible, ethical and safe use according to the applicable legal framework.
Through a program distributed throughout the national territory, the ‘AI Week’ in the network of Offices Acelera SME will allow thousands of companies to know success stories, real applications and solutions adapted to their needs.
Madrid joins the ‘AI Week’
The three SME Accelerator Offices in Madrid will join the ‘AI Week’ through awareness days, practical workshops, webinars, advisory and diagnostic sessions, as well as expert meetings that will allow SMEs to understand how to integrate AI into key areas of their business. Among the planned topics are business productivity and efficiency, process automation, marketing and sales, data analysis, digital strategy, secure and reliable AI, or sectoral applications of this technology.
The initiative has been joined by 54 Offices Acelera SMEs from all over Spain, which will carry out a total of 146 activities related to artificial intelligence during the week.
Boosting the competitiveness of SMEs
The programme seeks to contribute to improving the competitiveness of SMEs Through five major objectives: to bring the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence closer together, to encourage the adoption of innovative tools and solutions, to promote the digital transformation of companies, to disseminate real use cases and to promote an ethical and responsible development of this technology.
As a culmination of the initiative, a final event will be held in which conclusions, experiences and good practices identified during the development of the activities will be shared, highlighting the impact of artificial intelligence as a driver of growth, innovation and business competitiveness.
With the ‘AI Week’, Red.es and the Offices Acelera SME reaffirm their commitment to the digitalization of the Spanish business fabric and to the construction of an innovative ecosystem that allows SMEs to successfully face the challenges and opportunities of the digital economy.
A consolidated network
Since the launch of the first call in 2020, the Acelera SME office network has helped accelerate the digital transformation of the entrepreneurial fabric and small and medium-sized enterprises. Thanks to successive calls, it has been possible to consolidate a national network with more than 200,000 unique SMEs impacted and more than 12,000 activities carried out throughout the territory.
With the latest call of 2025, which has 76 offices distributed throughout the territory, Red.es extends and renews its commitment to a network of offices that act as advice points, physical and virtual, to promote the adoption of digital technologies, improve business competitiveness and accompany digital entrepreneurship in its different phases.
The Offices Acelera SMEs launched throughout Spain by Red.es have in their call 2025 an amount of aid granted of 29 million euros financed by the Government of Spain and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the period 21-27.
