• Those interested in participating, who must be between 12 and 22 years of age, can submit their work until November 13, 2026.

The Government Delegation in the Community of Madrid has launched the IV Edition of the Youth Short Video Contest Against Violence Against Women with the publication of the poster and the bases corresponding to the current call.
This contest aims to increase the awareness and sensitization of young people on issues of equality and violence against women.
The contest is open to both individual participants and groups. The participants will be able to present their videos individually or collectively, provided that all of them meet the age requirements established in these bases, which are between 12 and 22 years old at the time of presentation of the works and that they are registered in any of the municipalities of the Community of Madrid
The recordings must be presented in mp4 format, and have a maximum duration of 90 seconds. The deadline for submission is 23:59 hours on November 13, 2026.
Content of the videos
The content of the videos must be related to violence against women, and they may deal with any of the following issues:
- Detect violence against women around us and/or in the networks
- social and new technologies.
- Actions to eliminate violence against women in society and/or in women
- Social networks and new technologies.
- Prevent sexism, misogyny and hatred towards women among the adolescent population.
- Promote affective – sexual relationships among adolescents, based on gender equality, respect for diversity and tolerance.
- To promote support and solidarity networks among the adolescent population, in order to combat violence against women.
- Portray situations of harassment in the school environment on the basis of gender.
- To present stories of solidarity to combat violence against women.
- Show the importance of education to prevent violence against women.
Valuation and awards
Among the videos received, the jury of the Government Delegation will select a total of 8 finalists (4 of the First Category, for children from 12 to 16 years, and 4 of the Second Category, for young people from 17 to 22 years).
Her assessment will highlight creative talent, the generation of dialogue on gender issues, and the promotion of inclusion and diversity.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Government Delegation in Madrid (Calle Miguel Ángel Nº25, 28010, Madrid), on the occasion of the commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
