Transportes advances with the repair of the upper pass of the A-6 that gives access to Torrelodones Colonia, with a budget greater than 4 million euros

  • Tonight the A-6 driveway will be cut in both directions from 23:00 to 06:00 hours.
  • Traffic will be diverted to the service roads by exits 27 (direction A Coruña) and 33 (direction Madrid).

The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is executing the repair works of the upper pass located at kilometer 30.25 of the A-6 motorway, in the province of Madrid. This structure connects the service roads of both directions of the motorway and allows access to Torrelodones Colonia through the M-519 with a total budget of 4.04 million euros (VAT included).

Within the framework of these works, it is necessary to replace an aerial power line that crosses the motorway. To do this, during the night of Wednesday 10 to Thursday 11 December, from 23:00 to 6:00 hours, we will proceed to the total cut of both roads of the A-6, diverting traffic to the service roads:

  • Vehicles in sense of A Coruña: they must take exit 27 (Torrelodones / Hoyo de Manzanares) to rejoin the A-6 at kilometer 30.6.
  • Vehicles in sense Madrid: You will have to take exit 33 (La Berzosa) to rejoin the motorway at kilometer 28. The addition of the 30.7 kilometre service track will also be cut off.
