The delegate of the Government of Spain in the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín, has co-chaired the Local Security Board of Seville La Nueva together with the mayor, Asensio Martínez Agraz. The purpose of the board has been to analyze the security measures that will be put in place before the celebration of the Patron Saint Festivities that are held from 6 to 21 September 2025 and in which agents of the Civil Guard and Local Police will participate.
The Board has also analyzed the town’s security data, noting that it ended the first quarter of 2025 with a slight decrease in its crime rate that is still more than 20 points below the region’s average.
On the other hand, the delegate has insisted on the need for Sevilla la Nueva to be incorporated into the Viogén System for the protection of victims of Gender Violence.
