The Board has reviewed aspects related to the development of the activities planned for the festivities to ensure the safety of all attendees.
Favourable trend in the evolution of criminality
Pilar Trinidad has highlighted the “very good” evolution of crime figures, which were already reduced in 2024 and which continue to fall so far in 2025, with a rate well below the average of the Community of Madrid.
He has highlighted among the data the reduction of criminal offences by 16% and crimes against property by 21%, and has congratulated the Security Forces and Corps present for their work and the good coordination that makes this improvement possible, coupled with an increase in police effectiveness.
He also wanted to acknowledge the joint action of the Civil Guard and Local Police that has made possible the arrest of two pyromaniacs who had caused various fires in several farms in the area.
