Loeches is preparing for its patron saint’s festivities that will be held from September 5th to 9th. This has been one of the main points of the Local Security Board held today in the City Council of the municipality of Madrid.
The meeting was co-chaired by the delegate of the Government of Spain in the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre, and the mayor of the municipality, Antonio Theodori Andrés. Other members of the government team have also participated, as well as representatives of the Local Police, Civil Guard and Civil Protection.
The attendees have supervised the device designed to ensure the safety of neighbors and visitors during the municipal festivities of September, through the coordination of troops and adoption of additional measures of mobility and surveillance in those spaces with greater public influx.
During the Board, the evolution of crime data that remains stable compared to previous years has also been analyzed. At this point the delegate stressed that “Loeches is a safe municipality, up to 21 points below the average crime rate registered in the Community of Madrid”.
Finally, the delegate insisted on the importance of the incorporation of Loeches to VioGén, a system of comprehensive protection for victims of gender violence, taking advantage of the current increase in the Local Police staff in the municipality.
