The security around the stadium will be strengthened, so it is recommended that all attendees come in advance to pass the established security checks.
The Government Delegation in Madrid will activate a security device composed of more than 1,900 components for the first-round match of the 2024/25 Champions League that will play tomorrow Tuesday, March 4, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, in the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, starting at 9:00 p.m.
The operation, which will be responsible for monitoring the areas surrounding the stadium to prevent incidents, will be made up of National Police agents —coming from the Police Intervention Unit, the Special Cavalry Unit and the Provincial Information Brigade—; the Municipal Police of Madrid; Mobility Agents of the Madrid City Council; components of SAMUR-Civil Protection; the Fire Brigade; members of the Red Cross, and security guards and assistants of the football club itself. The presence of vigilantes will also be strengthened in the Metro service.
A capacity of 77,498 fans is expected at the Madrid stadium.
To expedite the work of the agents, it is recommended that all stadium attendees attend in advance to pass the established security controls.
