The delegate of the Government of Spain in the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre, has visited the town of Lozoyramos-Navas-Sieteiglesias where he has held a meeting with the mayor of the municipality, Lucía Balseiro.
After the meeting, Francisco Martín visited, accompanied by the mayor, the old schools of Lozoyuela that have been rehabilitated and conditioned thanks to the European funds for the recovery of public buildings. The works, which have covered around 335m2 of extension, have had a subsidy of 117.547.45€.
With this financing plan, 14 municipalities in the Community of Madrid will receive more than 13 million euros (13,146,485.23 €) of European recovery funds for the refurbishment of 15 public buildings, according to the provisional resolution of the call for Line 1 of the Program to Promote the Rehabilitation of Public Buildings (local PIREP), included in the Plan of Recovery, Transformation and Resilience (PRTR), published by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda.
The objective of the program is to help improve energy efficiency and environmental sustainability, ensuring the reduction of more than 30% of non-renewable primary energy consumption, accessibility, habitability and conservation of the building park.
