- Throughout Sunday, a total of 103 pallets were moved to Valencia in 3 trucks of different size and 2 trailers of high capacity. Yesterday, Monday, five more trucks were transferred.
- Government Delegation is carrying out the reception, storage and management of the sending of the aid collected by the municipalities of the Community of Madrid, coordinated by the Madrid Federation of Municipalities.
- The shipment is made according to the demand transferred by the Generalitat Valenciana and the National Centre for Emergency Monitoring and Coordination (CENEM).
- In total there are five ships authorized for management, four in the municipality of Alcalá de Henares and one of the pavilions of IFEMA
The help of the people of Madrid continues to reach the five spaces authorized by the Government of Spain to receive the donations collected by the municipalities of the Community of Madrid, in coordination with the Federation of Municipalities of Madrid.
The collection of donations began to be centralized on Saturday in a space managed by the Government Delegation in Alcalá de Henares, later up to four more spaces have been opened to accommodate the tons of solidarity of the people of Madrid.
Once the aid has been received, classified and stored, the Delegation coordinates the sending of the aid to Valencia, always under the request indicated by the Generalitat Valenciana and the National Centre for Emergency Monitoring and Coordination (CENEM).
In total, so far, five trucks have been sent on Sunday, five on Monday and throughout today the departure of twenty more trucks is being managed.
These trucks arrive in Valencia loaded with food, hygiene and cleaning products, water, milk, clothes and diapers fundamentally. Also tools to help the cleaning and recovery of the area.
Collaboration of companies and municipalities
Everything has also been possible thanks to the collaboration of several companies that have contributed logistical and transport resources, among which are: Tragsa, Correos, Mercasa, AENA, IFEMA, Ahorrama, El Corte Inglés, Association of Henares Entrepreneurs, Spanish Confederation of Associations of Young Entrepreneurs, CEOE Foundation, CEIM and UNO Logistics.
