The Subdelegate of the Government to the Community of Madrid, Pilar Trinidad, participated today in the inauguration of the Canon exhibition “World Unseen” together with the Director General of ONCE, Ángel Sánchez, the President of Canon Spain, Javier Tabernero and the Director of Communication of Canon Spain, Pilar González Tejedor.
During your speech, Pilar Trinidad, stressed that “so that people with disabilities can fully exercise their rights, it is necessary for society to make reasonable adjustments and eliminate barriers.”
The photographic exhibition, in which Canon and ONCE collaborate, is aimed at blind people. The main objective is to be able to bring the world of photography closer to people with visual disabilities. The photographs have been designed so that they can enjoy that art in a way that has never been possible before.
The subdelegate has expressed “the need for people with disabilities to participate in cultural life on equal terms.”
Thanks to Canon’s innovative technology, a total of 12 photographs, from different international artists, have been adapted in relief using Canon’s advanced PRISMAelevate XL technology and the Canon Arizona printer, allowing a tactile and visual experience.
