The Government Delegation in Madrid will activate a security device composed of 1,812 troops for the match of the third day of the league phase of the Champions League 2024/25 that will play tomorrow Tuesday, October 22, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, in the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, from 21:00 hours. This meeting has been classified as high-risk by the Anti-Violence Commission.
The operation, which will be responsible for monitoring the areas surrounding the stadium to prevent incidents, will be made up of National Police agents —coming from the Police Intervention Unit, the Special Cavalry Unit and the Provincial Information Brigade—; the Municipal Police of Madrid; Mobility Agents of the Madrid City Council; components of the SAMUR-Civil Protection; the Fire Brigade; members of the Red Cross, and security guards and assistants of the football club itself.
It is expected that more than 3,800 German fans will attend with entrance, in a stadium that will touch the full, with 75,000 localities sold.
To expedite the work of the agents, it is recommended that all stadium attendees attend in advance to pass the established security controls.
