Madrid, June 14, 2024.-After the preliminary technical meetings held between staff of the Government Delegation, FCSE and the local police of Madrid and Getafe and, according to the information presented by the promoter, a principle of agreement has been reached in relation to the security of the event and the associated mobility.
If, after the mandatory granting of the activity license by the City of Madrid, in the corresponding ordinary security meeting the conditions previously proposed by the promoter are confirmed, a priori everything indicates that an extraordinary security device can be designed and implemented for the celebration of the Mad Cool festival in its 2024 edition.
Before the celebration of Mad Cool, a political meeting will be held between the government delegate, the mayor of Madrid and the mayor of Getafe to analyze the future prospects for Iberdrola Music.
We welcome the return to the path of dialogue and agreement. It needs to be extended to the other outstanding issues and consolidated as a dynamic of work and institutional relationship between all the public administrations of Madrid.
