The delegate of the Government of Spain in the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín, met this afternoon with representatives of the Association of Companies and Professionals for Gays and Lesbians, Bisexuals and Trans of Madrid and its Community (AEGAL); the State Federation of Lesbians, Gay, Trans, Bisexual, Intersexual and More (FELGTBI+) and the Collective of Lesbians, Gays, Transsexual, Bisexual and Intersexual of Madrid (COGAM) to address aspects related to the celebration of LGBI Pride.
FELGTBI+ and COGAM are the convening entities of the demonstration, which this year has as its motto “Education, rights and peace: Pride that transforms”, which will feature the banner that will run along the Paseo del Prado, from the Glorieta de Atocha to the Plaza de Colón, and which will carry an important security device, as well as affects the circulation in the surroundings of this area.
The representatives of AEGAL have joined the meeting, given the important tourist and economic impact that the celebration of this event has for the city of Madrid, not in vain, the Pride of the capital is the most important at European level.
