The deputy delegate of the Government in Madrid, Pilar Trinidad Núñez, presided this morning the constitution of the Local Security Board of the municipality of Pezuela de las Torres in Madrid, together with the mayor, José Pío Carmena Servert.
The Local Security Board of the municipality is constituted after the agreement signed between the Government Delegation in the Community of Madrid and the City of Pezuela de las Torres to facilitate cooperation and operational coordination in matters of security between the Security Forces and Bodies that intervene in the territorial scope of the municipality, in this case the Civil Guard, and the Municipal Corporation that has its own Local Police Force. Pilar Trinidad has stressed that the signing of this agreement highlights the collaboration between administrations and with the security forces.
The meeting, which was attended by representatives of the Local Police, the Civil Guard and the Community of Madrid, addressed security in the municipality and analyzed the risk situations for it. The deputy delegate of the Government congratulated the mayor of the municipality and the security forces for the good security data of the town, a calm and safe municipality, which continues to consolidate the good data of previous years.
The meeting also discussed the importance of the incorporation of municipalities into the VioGén system for the comprehensive protection of women victims of gender violence, and information will be sent to the municipality with a view to a possible accession to the agreement.
