Renfe has issued in the Community of Madrid 313,500 free subscriptions of Neighbourhoods, valid for travel in the first four months of the year. The multi-trip titles will be in force until April 30 and can be acquired at any time during the entire period of validity.
On December 27 of last year, the Government approved the extension of the free Renfe Local, Rodalies and Medium Distance services for recurring travelers and 50% discounts for Avant (medium distance in high speed) subscriptions.
Thus, so far in 2024, in addition to the 313,500 free subscriptions from Cerca Madrid, Renfe has issued in this community 35,200 free subscriptions valid for Media Distancia trains.
More than two million nationally
Across the country, the company has surpassed the two million free and bonus multi-travel titles. These subscriptions are valid until April 30 and can be purchased at any time during the entire four-month period. To obtain them, a deposit of 20 is necessary.
To speed up the purchase of subscriptions and avoid unnecessary waits, Renfe recommends obtaining them through the Renfe Proximity app or, in the case of Media Distancia and Avant subscriptions, through the web www.renfe.com. To do this, the customer must be registered in advance.
