The Government Delegation in the Community of Madrid has hosted a new meeting this morning to coordinate the safety devices for the demonstrations of tractors planned in Madrid in the coming days, in particular, the one communicated this Wednesday, February 21, for which the conveners foresee the arrival of 5 columns of tractors from different parts of the country.
The meeting, chaired by the delegate of the Government, Francisco Martín Aguirre, accompanied by the subdelegate of the Government, Pilar Trinidad, participated, among other authorities, those responsible for the Ministry of the Interior, National Police, Civil Guard, General Directorate of Traffic, Road Demarcation, Municipal Police of Madrid, Samur-Civil Protection and Firefighters, as well as the head of the Citizen Security Unit of the Government Delegation.
The meeting, which gives continuity to the meetings held over the past weeks, addresses the device provided by each of the bodies involved with the aim of coordinating themselves to guarantee road and citizen safety at all times, remembering that the right of assembly must always be compatible with the right to the free movement of vehicles and people.
