“The Estu is undoubtedly a fundamental pillar of basketball in Spain, and it is a club that plays an important role in sport,” he said during his speech. Among other reasons, because it is “one of its hallmarks: its determined commitment to grassroots sport”; a shared interest with the Government of Spain for “its benefits for the whole of society and especially for children and adolescents”.
In addition, in his opinion, the commitment of the Government of Spain to sport is “palpable through its investment in infrastructure and sports programs, as well as in the promotion of healthy habits”.
