- More than 4000 German viewers are expected to attend
The Government Delegation in Madrid will activate a security device composed of 1688 troops for the first match of the UEFA Champions League group stage that will play tomorrow Wednesday, September 20, Real Madrid and Union Berlin at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium from 6:45 p.m.
This operation will involve National Police agents from the Police Intervention Unit, the Special Cavalry Unit and the Provincial Information Brigade, who will monitor the areas surrounding the stadium.
The deployment of the National Police will also be joined by agents of the Municipal Police of Madrid, components of the SAMUR-Civil Protection, the Fire Brigade, members of the Red Cross and more than a thousand vigilantes and security assistants of the football club itself.
For this meeting of the first day of the Champions League, the Madrid team has sold more than 69,000 tickets. Of these, 4400 have been acquired by fans of the Bundesliga team.
To expedite the work of the agents, it is recommended that all of them come in advance to pass the established security controls.
