The Government Delegation regrets to report the location of two lifeless bodies in the area affected by the flood in the Alberche and Perales rivers following the passage of the DANA. The bodies have been found by the rescue services that, since last Monday, have been working intensively.
At this moment it can be confirmed that one of them corresponds to that of José Manuel Aguado, the old man who disappeared in Villamanta; the second, in the absence of scientific confirmation, everything seems to indicate that it is that of Manuel López Rey, the father of the family who was traveling in a vehicle that was dragged by the force of water.
The government delegate, Francisco Martín, wants to convey to the family and relatives of these two people the affection, affection, solidarity and support of the entire Government of Spain and all Spaniards, and to recognize and thank the enormous work of the Civil Guard and the emergency and rescue services of the Community of Madrid have developed from the first minute to try to locate the missing. He also thanked once again the responsible attitude shown by the people of Madrid during the storm that prevented the consequences of this catastrophe from being even greater.
