The Government delegate in Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre, visited today the Information and Reception Center for Homeless People “Cedia”, and the Residential Temporary Accommodation Center “Synod” of Caritas Madrid.
Accompanied by the diocesan director of Caritas Madrid, Luis Hernández, and by heads of the centers and different programs of the NGO, he has toured the facilities and known the spaces where comprehensive support is provided to families in emergency situations or homeless people, with whom we work in the educational, therapeutic and psychosocial aspect, as well as offering them a place to stay and rest.
Cáritas Diocesana Madrid is part of the FACIAM-Federation of Associations of Centres for Integration and Assistance to the Marginalized network and aims to carry out the charitable and social action of the Church in the Diocese, as well as to promote, coordinate and implement the Christian communication of goods in all its forms and help the human promotion and integral development of all people.
