The government delegate in the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín, has attended the gala of delivery of the Medals of San Isidro 2023 of the City of Madrid, which was held today in the Palacio de Cibeles.
The categories of these distinctions are divided into Medals of Honor and Medals of Madrid, up to a total of 15, which serve to recognize the trajectory and commitment to the city of the winners with their greatest honorary title.
This year, the Medals of Honor were for: Ana Rosa Quintana (journalist), Alaska (artist) and Melchor Rodríguez 'El ángel rojo' (mayor of Madrid); and those of Madrid for: Juan Mayorga (playwright), Augusto Ferrer Dalmau (painter of battles), el Juli (bullfighter), Blanca del Rey (former dancer and businesswoman), Fundación Mª Cristina Masaveu Peterson (promotion and research of the Spanish Historical and Artistic Heritage), Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada (designer), Antonio Pau (writer and jurist), Leaders of Villaverde (collective of older women), Full Inclusion Madrid (network of people with intellectual disabilities), Casa del Libro Arusto
