- Eight home searches have been carried out and 4536 kilograms of hashish and almost 200 kilograms of marijuana have been intervened, one of the largest seizures in recent years in Madrid

In the framework of a joint operation carried out by agents of the Civil Guard and National Police, it has been possible to dismantle a criminal organization based in Madrid that carried out hashish and marijuana shipments by road with final destination Germany, Belgium and Bulgaria. Eleven people have been arrested, eight house searches have been carried out and 4536 kilograms of hashish and 195 kilograms of marijuana have been intercepted. It is one of the largest seizures of this type of drug that is made in Madrid in recent years.
The research carried out jointly has made it possible to dismantle two perfectly structured organizations that supplied the drug to take it out of the Spanish borders. On the one hand there is a distribution network led by two men who used a ship from Humanes (Madrid) for the reception and distribution of the merchandise; and another network located in the town of San Sebastián de los Reyes and led by two other men, familiar to each other, who were responsible for storing and promoting the drug to the first group.
Up to 7000 euros for shipping
Thanks to the interventions made, it was possible to find out the methodology used. To achieve their objective, they camouflaged the drug with the goods carried by the carrier or concealed it in double funds held by the trucks or vans. To do this, they had a group of transporters who were responsible for taking the drug to its destination and who charged between six and seven thousand euros for carrying these cargo.
During the investigation, the agents have managed to intercept four different ports in Fuenlabrada, Madrid, Guadalajara and Jaén, which has allowed to intercept 1883 kilograms of hashish and 195 more marijuana that were traveling to Europe and whose export was led by the two men operating from the ship located in Humanes.
As a result of these interventions, from the analysis of the documentation intervened and the data obtained from the investigations carried out, it was possible to reach the two men who exercised their activity from San Sebastián de los Reyes, who have proved to be the large-scale distributors of the drug.
Eight records and one localised nursery home
The exploitation phase has ended with the registration, in April, of the industrial building located in Humanes and seven homes located in Móstoles, Parla, Madrid and San Sebastián de los Reyes. Precisely in this town in the north of Madrid there was a security floor, from which the organization settled there carried out the distribution of the drug and where 2653 kilograms of hashish were intervened.
