The Government delegate to the Community of Madrid, Mercedes González, and the Superior Chief of Police, Manuel Soto Seoane, have continued this afternoon in San Blas-Canillejas the round of visits to the districts of the capital to meet with the representatives of the different neighborhood associations in order to listen to their demands and concerns regarding security.
Today’s meeting was the ninth of its kind, after those held in 2022: Puente de Vallecas (February 16), Centro (March 17), Ciudad Lineal (May 3), Villaverde (May 25), Fuencarral-El Pardo (June 20), Tetouan (September 14), Latina (November 28) and, already in 2023, Usera (February 21). The objective of these meetings is to create a permanent channel of communication with the associative fabric, to deepen the dialogue with the associations, and to adopt whatever measures are necessary to guarantee coexistence in the neighborhoods.
The meeting on Tuesday, held at the National Police Station of San Blas-Canillejas, was attended by the representatives of the following neighborhood associations: Friendship of Canillejas, Mancomunidad Owners El Sol Madrid, Las Musas-Las Rosas, Plataforma Vecinal San Blas-Simancas, Un Tobogán en Simancas, Polígono H. San Blas, Owners Polygon H. The Union and Suances Park.
