The Government delegate to the Community of Madrid, Mercedes González, and the Superior Chief of Police, Manuel Soto Seoane, have continued this afternoon in Usera the round of visits to the districts of the capital to meet with the representatives of the different neighborhood associations in order to listen to their demands and concerns regarding security. The objective of these meetings is to create a permanent channel of communication with the associative fabric, to deepen the dialogue with the associations, and to adopt whatever measures are necessary to guarantee coexistence in the neighborhoods.
Today’s meeting was the eighth of its kind, after those held in 2022: Puente de Vallecas (February 16), Centro (March 17), Ciudad Lineal (May 3), Villaverde (May 25), Fuencarral-El Pardo (June 20), Tetouan (September 14) and Latina (November 28).
At this Tuesday’s meeting, held at the National Police Station of Usera-Villaverde, the representatives of a dozen neighborhood associations were called: Barriada de San Fermín, Barrio Zofío, La Chimenea, Guetaria, Barrio Moscardó, La Mancha, La Unión de Almendrales, Orcasur, Orcasitas and Usera.
