The Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030 of the Government of Spain has authorized, through the Institute of Seniors and Social Services (Imserso), the Government of La Rioja the use of the Center for the Recovery of People with Physical Disabilities (CRMF) of Lardero during this school year or until a definitive solution is enabled to the accommodation of the internal students of the Marqués de Vallejo Center.
In this way, the Government of Spain will offer accommodation free of charge to 5 students who have not been able to be relocated together with the rest of their colleagues in the IES La Trabajo de Lardero due to the lack of accessibility of the building.
Both the students and their caregivers would stay at the CRMF of Lardero only from Monday to Thursday at night, between approximately 21:00 and 08:45 hours, not requiring catering services.
With regard to the facilities - rooms, adapted toilets and spaces for caregivers - a favorable feasibility report has been issued to be able to offer a space of 178.46 square meters within the CRMF.
This agreement highlights the importance of proper cooperation between administrations.
