The Government of Spain is going to implement in an imminent way a series of actions to reinforce security in the N-232 in the stretch between the kilometric point 462 to the limit of the autonomous community. In particular, the no-overtaking signals will be enhanced with fluorescent signage throughout the section, the no-overtaking section will be extended before and after the grade change, and the continuous double line will be established.

In addition, the milled longitudinal soundtrack will be executed. In the curve section, the maximum speed recommendation signals at 60 and 70 kilometres per hour will be replaced by the prohibition signals and the marking will be reinforced with edge markers every 25 metres and with luminous directional panels.

On the other hand, the presence of Civil Guard controls in this section will be strengthened.

These measures have been agreed at a meeting convened by the Government delegate in La Rioja, Beatriz Arraiz Nalda, last week and attended by the Civil Guard, General Directorate of Traffic and Road Demarcation of Estado.es at 80%.
