The Council of Ministers has approved this week 21 addenda of extension and modification of agreements for the execution of Destination Tourism Sustainability Plans (PSTD) of the Regular Calls of 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Of these 21 addenda, one corresponds to the agreement signed on December 13, 2021 between the Secretary of State for Tourism, the Regional Development Council of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja and the Tourism Development Community of the Alhama-Linares Valley for the execution of the Tourism Sustainability Plan in the Alhama-Linares Valley.

The modification of the agreement includes, on the one hand, the extension of the annuities of execution, in particular of 3 years, depending on what is requested by the local entity and approved unanimously by the Follow-up Commission.

On the other hand, for the implementation of this Tourism Sustainability Plan in the Alhama-Linares Valley, an amendment to the annex of actions of the agreement has been approved. The modification of the final annex of actions does not entail any alteration of the total budget of the PSTD.

The objective of this addendum is to facilitate the continuity of the execution of the PSTDs by extending their execution time and modifying the actions to adapt them to the current situation of the markets and the requirement of the national and international situation of tourism.
