The Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Public Service promotes, through Red.es, a new line of support for the digital transformation of the business fabric of La Rioja. Until October 7, Rioja companies can apply for RedIA grants, a call that, with a total budget of 130 million euros, aims to finance projects in artificial intelligence and other dual technologies, promoting their integration into value chains.
Interested companies will be able to attend this call with projects focused on strategic technological areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, navigation systems, space technologies, cybersecurity, advanced materials, intelligent sensors, or the Internet of Things.
Companies must define both the technology used and the scope of application, which may belong to any economic sector, except the health sector, expressly excluded from this call, because it has a specific line, RedIA Salud, which will be called soon.
The grants are aimed at business initiatives that support the experimental development of new products, processes or services, or the substantial improvement of existing ones. To do this, projects must incorporate prototypes, pilot tests or technology validations as part of their implementation.
Companies with tax domicile in Spain will be able to participate in this call, which will present up to three projects, of which a maximum of two will be financed per entity.
The budget allocated for each project ranges from a minimum of 400,000 euros to a maximum of 5 million euros and the aid will cover between 25% and 60% of the total amount. In addition, it will be necessary to demonstrate that the initiatives have a real incentive effect, that is, that they could not be developed or would be developed in a limited way without this public aid.
The application period for this call will remain open until 7 October 2025 at 12:00 a.m..
