The data analyzed at the Local Security Board of Nájera have confirmed that security levels are maintained, reaching 32.75 criminal offenses per thousand inhabitants at the end of 2024, a figure very similar to that obtained in 2023 with 32.09.
The delegate of the Government in La Rioja, Beatriz Arraiz Nalda, and the mayor of Nájera, Jorge Salaverri Galarreta, presided this morning the Local Security Board to analyze the evolution of crime figures in the municipality.
Of all the data analyzed, Arraiz Nalda has highlighted the high levels of clarification of crimes in Nájera, which reached 47.34% last year, which is twelve points higher than the previous year (35.52%).
Also, according to the indicators provided by the Civil Guard, in 2024 264 criminal offenses were known - 5 more than in 2023 -, 48 people were detained - 22 more than the previous year - and another 64 were investigated - 6 less than in 2023.
With regard to the robberies on agricultural and livestock farms, the Civil Guard learned during the past year from 2 to 4 of 2023.

Finally, according to the data provided by the VioGén System, in the town of Nájera there are 17 active cases that require police protection, which correspond to 16 victims. Of these, 4 women present an unappreciated level of risk, 10 low, 2 medium and 1 high risk. In addition, 4 minors are in a particularly vulnerable situation.
