The Official State Gazette today publishes the Resolution of December 19, 2024, of the General Secretariat for Territorial Coordination, which agrees on the allocation of subsidies for the recovery of damages in municipal infrastructure and provincial and island road network, provided for in the Agreement of the Council of Ministers of March 5, 2024, declaring ‘Area seriously affected by a Civil Protection emergency’ the territory affected as a result of forest fires, an urban fire, floods and other phenomena of different nature that occurred between June 21, 2023 and February 26, 2024.
After the deadline for submitting applications, the Delegation of the Government of La Rioja has carried out the established checks, sent to the Directorate-General for Regional and Local Cooperation, on the quantified relationships of projects eligible for grants.
In accordance with all this, and once the procedure has been completed, a total of 11 Rioja municipalities have been beneficiaries with a total of grants of 689,586.23 euros.
As stated in the Resolution, within a maximum period of three months from today, the beneficiary entities, in the case of La Rioja the regional administration, must submit the award certificate for each of the projects to which they have been allocated a grant.
To this end, the Government of La Rioja, in its capacity as beneficiary entity, may approve instructions specifying the term and manner in which the executing entities of the projects, in this case municipalities of La Rioja, must communicate to them the information they need to ensure compliance with the obligations arising from Order HAP/196/2015, which approves the regulatory bases of the subsidies of this granting of aid.
Failure to submit the award certificate within the established time and form will result in the total loss of the right over the grant allocated to the project in question.
