The Government delegate in La Rioja, Beatriz Arraiz Nalda, held a meeting this morning with representatives of the Labour and Social Security Inspectorate, Civil Guard and National Police to monitor the coordinated action of the General Administration of the State in the harvest campaign in the autonomous community.
In this sense, and according to what was announced at the Committee on Migratory Flows held on August 28, the Labour and Social Security Inspectorate controls the conditions for hiring workers, as well as the control of the regulations on social security, employment, foreigners and risk prevention.
In addition, the Labour and Social Security Inspectorate, in collaboration with the State Security Forces and Corps, is working to detect impersonations of agricultural workers, document forgery, illegal hiring and any violation of workers’ rights.
