This summer awareness campaign
Alcohol and drugs have been and continue to be one of the main problems for road safety both in our country and throughout Europe. For that reason, the new DGT awareness campaign to avoid road accidents insists on the risks of driving under the effects of these substances.
The DGT campaign has a bearing on the idea that road safety is a personal decision, that is, a conscious choice that each driver has to make in order to comply with traffic regulations, since compliance with them is the most effective way to avoid road accidents.
The chosen slogan is “The road doesn’t care how much you have drunk. Only zero has zero consequences”, a message that appeals to the responsibility of each driver.
La audiovisual piece It recreates a typical meal and table of friends in which one of them, Paul, in a state of considerable drunkenness, decides that it is time to retire. Another of the friends, seeing the drunk state in which he is, tells him that he takes him in his car because he has stopped drinking before. Both go on to tourism and undertake the return trip that ends with the collision against another tourism in which a family rightly travels. A very frequent sinister and from which no one is safe.
