The data analyzed by the Local Security Board of Haro certifies the decrease in crime levels, placing the crime rate at 35.6 criminal offenses per thousand inhabitants in 2023 compared to the 42 recorded in 2022.
The delegate of the Government of Spain in La Rioja, Beatriz Arraiz Nalda, and the mayor of Haro, Guadalupe Fernández Prado, presided this morning the meeting in which they analyzed the evolution of security in this municipality.
Regarding the rate of clarification of criminal offenses, it stands at 37.7%, up from 32.9% in 2022. The number of arrests also increased, from 40 detainees in 2022 to 58 last year.
According to the data offered by the Civil Guard, in 2023 he was aware of 414 criminal offenses in Haro, 75 less than in 2022.
As for the robberies in agricultural and livestock farms, between January and April 3 have been registered compared to 4 in this same period in 2022.
Finally, on the part of the Civil Guard it has been recommended in the Local Security Board that farmers and ranchers, as well as the general public, install the Alertcops application, a very useful tool to contact and collaborate with the State Security Forces and Bodies.
In this regard, it has been explained that Alertcops incorporates a chat with which to contact the Civil Guard and notify possible crimes that are being committed.

In relation to the data provided by the VioGén System - Comprehensive Monitoring System in Cases of Gender Violence - according to current figures, in Haro there are 16 active cases of male violence with 15 victims and 16 authors. Of these, 2 present unappreciated risk level, 11 low, 3 medium irrigation and none high or extreme.
