Renfe has issued in La Rioja about 1,900 free subscriptions to travel on its Media Distancia trains in the first quarter of the year. The multi-trip titles will be in force until April 30 and can be acquired at any time during the entire period of validity.
On December 27 of last year, the Government approved the extension of the free Renfe Local, Rodalies and Medium Distance services for recurring travelers and 50% discounts for Avant (medium distance in high speed) subscriptions. Since then and to date, Renfe has issued in La Rioja a total of 1,897 multi-travel titles for recurring travelers, valid for travel during the first four months of the year.
Across the country, the company has surpassed the two million free and bonus multi-travel titles.
These subscriptions will be valid until April 30 and can be purchased at any time during the entire term. To obtain them, a deposit of 20 is necessary for the services of Media Distancia. To speed up the purchase of subscriptions and avoid unnecessary waits, Renfe recommends obtaining them through the web www.renfe.com. To do this, the customer must be registered in advance.
