From Thursday, August 31, to Sunday, September 3, the DGT launches the Special Traffic Operation “Return of the Summer”, in which approximately 180,000 trips are planned in La Rioja.
The hours of greatest traffic intensity foreseen are:
- 31 August, from 16:00 to 22:00.
- 1 September, from 9 to 14 h and from 16 to 22 h.
- September 3rd, from 16 to 22 h.
During this special traffic operation, it will have 134 personnel from the Traffic Group of the Civil Guard and will collaborate with local police of the municipalities involved and agents of the X Zone of the Civil Guard.
Operation Summer Return 2022
In Operation “Summer Return” of 2022, from August 26 to 28, one day less than in 2023, 4 accidents with victims were recorded in La Rioja, with 2 serious injuries and 2 minor injuries.
