From March 20 to 24, the Government Delegation in La Rioja celebrates Open Administration Week, an initiative promoted by the Alliance for Open Government. Its main objective is to bring Public Administrations closer to the citizens, based on the principles of Open Government: transparency, accountability, citizen participation, public integrity and collaboration.
A total of 25 actions have been planned to publicize, among different sectors of society, the actions carried out by the Government Delegation, either directly or through the coordination of the State Security Forces and Bodies in the framework of the prevention of the commission of crimes.
Scheduled activities
The agenda of scheduled activities will begin with the conference entitled “Complying: Your Government informs you”, in which delegate Beatriz Arraiz Nalda will lead an explanation of the main actions of the Spanish Executive.
On the other hand, the program “The Administration near you” will also be the protagonist of the week. After going to all the municipalities of La Rioja between 500 and 8,000 inhabitants and confirming that the citizens do not know and show interest in the procedures that can be processed by the Government Delegation, the officials will move to three municipalities of La Rioja to meet their demands again.
In order to disseminate the knowledge of the Government Delegation and the services it provides, this time a group of people with special needs has been selected with which close collaboration is maintained. In this way, users of the CRMF of Lardero will attend the Open Day “The Government Delegation, your nearby administration”.
In the area of Work and Immigration, an important service is provided to people from abroad through the Aliens Office, as well as to citizens who move outside Spain and return later. To update the information, an information session called “Updating knowledge in the regulation of Foreigners and Emigration” has been designed, aimed at interested professional associations, unions and immigrant associations.
Also, since the demand for information on the installation of video cameras for security reasons in small towns and industrial estates is very high, two sessions have been scheduled with the municipalities of Rioja under the title “Rural video surveillance: the Government Delegation supports the security of entities without Local Police”.
To promote collaboration between administrations and increase the safety of victims of gender violence, the Government Delegation has scheduled the conference “Coordination between Justice and FCSE to improve the protection of victims of gender violence (SIRAJ)”. This day will explain the application of SIRAJ (System of Administrative Records in Support of the Administration of Justice) to the Security Forces and Corps. The objective is that they can have this information when they are going to make new risk assessments in the VioGen gender violence management application.
In addition, a series of talks will be given by the head of the Coordination Unit against Violence against Women of the Government Delegation, National Police and Civil Guard in different educational centers and senior citizens’ associations within the framework of Open Administration Week.
