The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma), has signed the services contract for the drafting of the “Feasibility study of the improvement of the railway corridor between Logroño and Miranda de Ebro”, as stated in the State Contracting Platform and will soon publish the Official State Gazette (BOE).
The tender budget is 612,677.45 euros (VAT included) and the execution period of 20 months.
The aim of the study is to evaluate the technical, economic and environmental feasibility of improving the railway corridor between Logroño (La Rioja) and Miranda de Ebro (Burgos).
To this end, with the degree of definition and precision according to this type of studies, a sufficient number of drawing alternatives will be analyzed, which will subsequently be compared under technical, economic, environmental and exploitation considerations, resulting in this comparison an optimal alternative.
The feasibility study will contain a demand study specifically designed for this action, as well as a socio-economic profitability study.
