The government delegate and the mayor of Esporles have chaired this Thursday the Local Security Board of this municipality
The government delegate in the Balearic Islands, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, and the mayor of Esporles, Josep Ferrà, co-chaired on Thursday the Local Security Board of the municipality, in which aspects related to the coordination between the Civil Guard and the Local Police have been addressed, to ensure the most appropriate management of the needs in terms of security and protection to the citizens.
More specifically, in the meeting, in which representatives of the police forces have participated, details have been exchanged on the planning of the operation to ensure the good development of the patron saint’s festivities of Sant Pere and the Festes de la Mare de Déu d’Agost. In Esporles the protocols ‘No siguis ase’ and ‘No i punt’ will be implemented, to prevent alcohol abuse and against sexual violence, with the collaboration between the different institutions involved and the Casal de Joves de Esporles.
On the other hand, this meeting has also agreed on the adaptation of the Viogén operational protocol to the new instructions of the Secretariat of State for Security.
