Clara Mayans Torres will be the new director of the State Administration in Menorca
The government delegate in the Balearic Islands, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, will appoint Clara Mayans Torres as the new island director of the General State Administration (AGE) in Menorca, a position in which she will replace Isabel López Manchón, who ceased in April to join her job in the public health sector.
Mayans is a career civil servant, with a position as a technician in Health Protection in the Ministry of Health of the Autonomous Community. She has a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), and specializes in equine medicine and surgery from the University of León. Between 2010 and 2018 he was manager of the Sanitary Defense Association of Boví de Menorca.
As soon as the corresponding administrative procedures are carried out, they will be officially appointed and the subsequent takeover by the new island director of the AGE in Menorca.
