The Government has already distributed in Balears more than €32M of European funds through the Digital Kit

More than 32 million euros of the European funds NextGenerationEU have been distributed to date among the small and autonomous companies of Illes Balears through Kit Digital, the aid program of the Government of Spain managed by Red.es which, in the case of the islands, has already granted more than 6,500 digital bonds. Now a new call has been opened, which is aimed at communities of goods, agricultural holdings of shared ownership and professional civil societies and with commercial activity. Since September 12, entities of this type that have less than 50 people employed can already apply for help.

As in the previous calls, the digital bonus will be differentiated according to a first segment, intended for entities between 10 and less than 50 employees; a second, for entities between 3 and less than 10 employees, and a third, for entities between 0 and less than 3 employees. The deadline for applying for assistance will be open until December 31, 2024.

To access the digital voucher, the applicant entities must be registered in the Census of entrepreneurs, professionals and retainers of the State Agency of the Tax Administration, and have a minimum age of 6 months. Red.es It has designed a very innovative processing system, which uses robotization tools and artificial intelligence and thus reduces the bureaucratic burden. It is not necessary to provide any documentation, but it will be enough for the entrepreneur to authorize Red.es to consult ex officio the requirements and obligations required to obtain the status of beneficiary. Transparency and legal certainty are thus safeguarded.

As a novelty in this call, the entities to which it is addressed will have to fill out a single form, regardless of the segment (I, II or III) to which they belong, and Red.es, after receiving the request, will carry out the necessary verifications to verify in which segment each entity is located. In addition, applicants who do not have public deeds incorporated, with the exception of professional civil societies, will have to appoint a legal representative of their members. The model to be completed is available in the announcement, which can be consulted in www.acelerapyme.es. The aid will be granted directly and in order of arrival.

The digital voucher may be worth € 12,000, € 6,000 or € 2,000, depending on the size of the requesting entity, which must also select one or more digitizing agents with which to develop the offered solutions that best suit your needs. Currently the catalogue is made up of about 10,900 agents.

Kit Digital, promoted by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation through the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, has become the most demanded program of aid for the digitalization of SMEs in the history of Spain. With a total budget of 3,067 million euros, it is financed with NextGenerationEU funds within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, the España Digital 2026 agenda and the Digitalization Plan for SMEs 2021-2025.
