Interior launches an interactive map to consult the new police stations and barracks that are being built throughout Spain
The Ministry of the Interior has launched this Friday an interactive map with which to consult all the new National Police stations, headquarters and posts of the Civil Guard and other security infrastructures that are being built or reformed throughout Spain thanks to the Infrastructure Plan for State Security, with which an investment of 1,000 million euros is being executed.
The map also shows the new plan or reform works that are being carried out with its own funds from the Secretary of State for Security and Penitentiary Institutions, which add another 180 million euros in execution. The loading of all infrastructures will end in the next few days.
In total there are more than 400 infrastructures that will be reflected in the interactive map, which is hosted on the website of the Ministry and that allows to consult throughout Spain but also by autonomous communities and provinces each action and know its location, investment and status.
The map can be consulted in the following link:
Through this map you can consult the investments that are being executed in the following categories, which each of them has specific logos:
· National Police,
· Civil Guard,
· Penitentiary institutions,
· Directorate General of Traffic,
· Secretary of State for Security,
· Borders, ports, airports and others.
The consultation also allows searches to be made by autonomous communities and by provinces. Once located in any of them, the maps of carts are shown to facilitate the location of the infrastructures.
CONSTRUCTION OR RENOVATION OF MORE THAN 400 INFRASTRUCTURES
In this interactive map you can see the investments made in the more than 400 infrastructures in which the Infrastructure Plan for State Security intervenes or the executions with funds of the Secretary of State for Security or Penitence Institutions. All these projects are implemented by the Society of Penitentiary and State Security Infrastructure and Equipment (SIEPSE).
Among the most outstanding investments are the reform of the Zapadores police complex in Valencia, with an investment of approximately 30 million euros, the construction of the new command of the Civil Guard in Zaragoza, also with an investment of 30 million euros, the construction of the new provincial commissariat in Jaén, with an investment of 7 million euros, or the rehabilitation of the quartering of the Civil Guard in Santiago de Compostela, with an investment of almost 10 million euros, among others.
The development of the interactive map consisted in the creation of a custom form, based on xml and jsp technologies. The information table of each project indicates the location, the action undertaken - if it is a new or refurbished work - as well as the estimated investment and the current status of the project.
ECOLOGICAL TRANSFORMATION
The investment of 1 billion euros that is being implemented with the Infrastructure Plan for State Security 2019-2025 is composed of 600 million own funds to which 400 more European Union funds are added for modernization and energy efficiency works.
Therefore, all the works that are being carried out incorporate key elements of sustainability and criteria of almost zero energy consumption and zero emissions such as high-efficiency air conditioning, photovoltaic solar panels, centralized control of facilities for consumption control, LED lighting or electric vehicle charging stations.
