Pedro Blanco welcomed the new chief admiral of Ferrol’s Arsenal, Vicente Rubio Bolívar

The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, welcomed the new admiral head of the Arsenal, Vicente Rubio Bolívar, to Ferrol’s Arsenal. The delegate highlighted his broad trajectory and wished him luck in his new stage in front of one of the main strategic facilities of the country. “Ferrol is a city linked to the Navy and the work it does in this Arsenal is fundamental for our defense and for the social and economic fabric of the region,” said Blanco.

The new Chief Admiral is a graduate of the General Staff and a specialist in Electronics and Communications. He was in charge, among others, of the patrol boat "Tabarca", of the Martyma Action Ship (BAM) "Lightning" and of the frigate F-103 "Blas de Lezo".

Finally, Pedro Blanco, also thanked him for the work and dedication to the outgoing Admiral, Gonzalo Villar, pointing out his commitment to Ferrol.
