Eladio Santos, deputy delegate of the Government in Ourense, highlighted on Tuesday the commitment of the Government of Spain to the rights of LGTBI+ people and urged to continue defending their freedoms "without taking a step backwards".
It did so during the placement of the LGTBI+ Pride claim flag on the facade of the Government Subdelegation in Ourense, where it will be hanging all week. With respect, he encouraged the other institutions of the city to join this demand "so fair and necessary".
In addition, the subdelegate celebrated the social achievements obtained by the Government of Spain, such as the law of egalitarian marriage, which turns 20 years old. "Spain is a reference for the world in LGBTI+ rights," said Santos.
