The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, today placed Estrella Galicia as an exemplary company by promoting the development of the territory in which its activity originated, by respecting the traditions and history of the company and by promoting, at the same time, innovation and avant-garde.
Pedro Blanco highlighted these strengths of the Galician company in the inauguration of the new production center of Estrella Galicia in the polygon of Morás, in Arteixo. Pedro Blanco highlighted the impact of Estrella Galicia on the Galician economy, which drives while the company itself grows, and in which it has the collaboration of the Government of Spain.
In this line the delegate reaffirmed that the Government “we are and feel the best ally of Galician companies”, with which “we want to continue collaborating, to make a better Galicia hand in hand”.
Pedro Blanco stressed the Government’s support for the Galician business fabric through the funds of the Recovery Plan that benefit the other 60,000 companies promoting Galician industrial growth. “The government is proud of Galician companies and their ability,” he explained.
Accompanied by the deputy delegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, the delegate congratulated Estrella Galicia for the new facilities, which incorporate numerous technological advances “that speak to us efficiency and renewable energies and also of modernity and audacity”.
The main objective of the new factory is to achieve more sustainable and modern facilities, internationalizing the Galician group and constituting one of the largest in the European continent. “Estrella Galicia was born in A Coruña and is consolidated at national and international level, boosting the Galician economy and elevating Galicia to the highest”, explained the delegate to what, in addition, he added that the facilities of the Poligono de Morás are the best example of the “value of metropolitan areas, in which neighboring municipalities join efforts to promote joint economic and social development”.
