Eladio Santos encourages citizens to participate in Route 091 in Ourense, "a solidarity test in favor of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, a just and necessary cause"

Eladio Santos, deputy delegate of the Government in Ourense, encouraged the citizens on Tuesday to participate in the Solidarity Race Route 09, "a test that will take place on June 22, in favor of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, a just and necessary cause." He did so during the presentation of the race, at the Marcos Valcárcel Cultural Center in Ourense, where he was accompanied by the chief provincial commissioner of the National Police, Juan Cástor Vázquez.


In his speech, Eladio Santos congratulated the National Police for organizing this solidarity initiative, "an example of the democratic values of the institution and its commitment to social inclusion and the promotion of sport." "Programs, projects, and initiatives like this need to be pushed forward to try to improve the living conditions of those who need it most," he said.


The benefits obtained in the test will be donated to the Ourense association Trascos, which works on behalf of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The subdelegate thanked the work of this entity that offers resources to people with ASD and their families and seeks to raise awareness in society. "The Government is implementing the Spanish Strategy on Autism Spectrum Disorder which, with an allocation of 40 million euros, pursues the objectives of promoting job inclusion, improving early care and promoting research, among others," said Santos.


SOLIDARITY RACE ROUTE 091

The race of the adult category will begin at 9:30 am on Sunday, June 22, with a duration of 60 minutes and a distance of 5 kilometers. Then, the circuit of the children's and inclusive category will be at 10:45 hours, with a route of one kilometer and will extend 15 minutes. The registration period is open, through the web www.ruta091.es, and will be closed on June 15, at 23:59 hours.


The cost is 12 euros for adults, up to a maximum of 800 participants, and 10 euros for the inclusive and children category, up to a maximum of 200 participants. There is also the "Dorsal 0", a solidarity dorsal so that each person who wants it can donate the amount it estimates will suit you voluntarily.
