The delegate and the mayor of Valdoviño analyze ways of collaboration to recover the environmental environment of the fish farm

The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, and the mayor of Valdoviño, Alberto González, analyzed this morning the possible ways of collaboration to recover the environmental environment of the fish farm existing in the municipality, so that its inhabitants can enjoy this natural enclave. They had a working meeting with this reason in the Government Delegation, together with the provincial head of Costas in A Coruña, Carlos Gil.

Pedro Blanco highlighted the projects of the Government in Galicia within the environmental field, in which this analysis is framed for Valdoviño. The working meeting that took place today is the first step towards the recovery of these border spaces in the public domain that border the facilities of the fish farm, “always with the citizens as a beneficiary,” said the delegate. He highlighted the effort in this field of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, with Vice President Sara Aagesen at the head.

With other actions, such as the development of the plan of the Cape Ortegal Geopark Project, implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, the Government boosts the natural environments of Valdoviño and also gives rise to sustainable and seasonal tourism. In the promotion of the Geopark, it has invested 1.5 million euros in the framework of the Program of Tourist Sustainability Plans in Destination, which finances the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

Pedro Blanco emphasized the Government’s support for small municipalities, appealing to full institutional collaboration: “They know that they have us by their side, listening to them and developing actions that improve the daily life of their citizens, something that is evidenced by actions such as the one we are dealing with this morning.”
